I am from the North East of England and moved to Devon in 1994, which is the most beautiful place to live. I am a Human Resource Generalist by profession and a registered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD).

On moving to Devon I joined Exeter Primary Care Trust and worked as an office manager for a number of years until I was seconded to North Devon PCT where I gained further NHS management experience.

In 2006, I worked at Devon Partnership Trust as an HR Business Partner and as the Medical Workforce Lead which involved managing a team, supporting junior doctors, Consultants and supporting the business needs for the medical directorate. I enjoy working as part of a team and I am passionate about  good quality healthcare services.

I have a grown up family and I enjoy sailing, going  away in our campervan and walking. I love animals and have a black cat, Lola and myself and my husband would love a dog in the future.
